Please join us for the the 12th Annual NEPA Catholic Homeschool Moms’ Day Out on February 28, 2026. Come for spiritual refreshment and camaraderie! It will be held at St. Lucy’s, 949 Scranton St. in Scranton.
See the schedule of events below . . . Holy Mass, inspiring talks, social time, great food, and so on. We all could use the spiritual and mental boost as winter continues and Lent begins! We will continue to update this page as more details are available. We are need of another speaker or activity, so please suggest someone or something if you like!!

This is a free event, sponsored by Hillside Education, but we welcome donations to defray the cost of food, etc. You can donate on the day of the event. Thank you! I always intend for moms to be able to come and not worry about bringing a dish to share or having to do anything extra — just come and be pampered.
BOOK SWAP: If you have used books to give away or to sell, please bring them and we will have an area set aside for you to display them. If you are selling, please provide an envelope into which other moms can place their payments.

Followed by social time and book browsing as long as you like, well, maybe till dark.

At last year’s event, someone requested a list of everyone’s contact information be made and sorted by areas, so that someone might know who was homeschooling in her area. This list would be shared only with the moms who attend or agree to have their name shared. If you would like to have your information shared on that list, please send me a note with your name, email address, and general location.
